Set Project Resource Filters

Use this option when you have added user defined codes or fields to a project's resource structure. Recommend selecting at least one user defined code or field. Otherwise, be sure to Set Available Resources in the Structures tab (see Set Project Available Resources). Selecting the available resources ensures the Resource dropdown is enabled in the main EVMax window when you assign a resource to a work package.

1. Select Project Data > Projects. The Manage Projects tab window displays.
2. Click on the Structure [Select] dropdown in the Ribbon Menu and select the project you want from the list.
3. Select the Settings tab. When you assigned user defined fields or codes to the project's resource structure, the Resource Filter option is enabled with a list of the available codes or fields.
4. Click the check box for the resource codes or fields you would like to apply filters to when you assign the resources to a work package in the main EVMax window.
5. Click Save in the Ribbon Menu.
6. Optional. Close the Manage Projects tab.
